Yantra Toolkit

This toolkit features a meditation device called a Yantra that emerged in my consciousness, which you can use to catalyze your awakening. I discuss the origins and deeper meaning of this spiritual technology in my autobiography, The Incredible State of Absolute Nothingness, for those who wish to explore it further.

What is a Yantra?

A Yantra is a geometric design used in meditation. By resting your attention on it, the mind gradually becomes still. Over time, this steady focus can deepen awareness and reconnect you with a dimension beyond yourself.

In that union, you connect with the formless ground of being, the source underlying all existence. This realization sits at the heart of meditation and every authentic spiritual path.

Yantra

This is one of the simplest and purest forms of a Yantra. It does not require complex visualization steps like many other Yantras do, but it is still just as effective.

Many traditions use geometric forms in this way. Their symmetry naturally anchors attention and creates resonance with deeper states of awareness. Yantras can also be placed in your home or workspace as symbols of harmony and visual reminders of clarity and presence.

How Do Yantras Work?

Yantras work on the basis of something called shape energy. Certain shapes contain coherent frequencies that we can tune into by focusing on them. To be more precise, Yantras are subtle forms of higher consciousness. They are visible emanations of specific divine vibrations, to be exact, which create a resonance with that energy pattern.

Yantras also have an entrancing quality that absorbs the mind in a hypnotic way, making it easy to ignore distracting thoughts. At the same time, the focused energy that gets generated helps awaken the highest state of awareness possible, unifying the outside world of form with the formless dimension found within.

John N. Inglis"This Yantra seems to echo the Yantras of yore, with the T-shaped portals centered on the mystic point, the bindu. The diagonals of the X imply four equilateral triangles, evoking a similarity with the Sri Yantra. Overall, your symbol also announces to the world, once again, the divine union of transcendence (Shiva) and immanence (Shakti).

The points of the diagonals gather the energies of creation and focus them on the small, still point in the center. This is the source in which our psyche is embedded and the portal wherein The Incredible State of Absolute Nothingness may be found. That is to say, the nothing that is everything.

I am inclined to enter here into the implications, as I see them, of this Yantra emerging at this point in the contemporary world of cultural transition, which is in a precarious state of balance going forward. The emergence of a symbol such as this and its implications can only contribute toward a new equilibrium, a new synthesis that is consistent with an influx of renewing energies. There seems to be growing evidence in the world today of these energies of renewal. Your Yantra supports this nascent ascent to higher realizations. I feel encouraged by its appearance."
